IT Security Architect – Strategic Key Role in Digital Infrastructure

On behalf of our client, we are now looking for an IT Security Architect for a growing technology company in digital infrastructure and community-related services. The company develops and manages business and mission-critical systems where high demands are placed on security, availability, and regulatory compliance.

The company has all technical development gathered internally and works long-term with stable, scalable, and secure solutions. Security is an integrated part of the business and is seen as a strategic prerequisite for continued development and growth.

Responsibilities

In the role of IT Security Architect, you will be responsible for building, developing, and managing the organization’s overall IT security architecture. You will work closely with other IT architects, technical specialists, and the business to ensure that security requirements are consistently implemented across the IT environment.

The work includes both strategic and operational elements. You will translate governing documents and regulatory requirements into technical solutions, standards, and secure configurations. An important part of the role is to work proactively with risk management through analyses, testing, and continuous improvement of the security level.

Examples of tasks:

• Manage, further develop, and document IT security architecture
• Develop and specify security solutions and follow up on their effectiveness
• Plan and conduct risk analyses, vulnerability analyses, and security audits
• Coordinate cybersecurity efforts within the organization
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and other relevant regulations
• Keep up with developments in IT security, threat landscapes, and new technologies

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in IT and information security, such as IT Security Architect, Senior Security Engineer, or a similar role. You have a good understanding of how to secure complex IT environments and are used to working systematically with security issues.

You should have:

• Several years of relevant work experience in IT security
• Deep technical understanding of hybrid and cloud-based IT environments
• Knowledge of network security, endpoint security, and system hardening
• Experience in both preventive and incident-related security work

Meritorious experience includes:

• Identity and Access Management (IAM), such as SSO, MFA, and PAM
• PKI, encryption, and certificate management
• Work with technical controls related to GDPR and ISO 27001
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent

You are analytical, structured, and have the ability to take a holistic perspective. You work independently but also find it easy to collaborate and communicate with different parts of the organization. You thrive with responsibility and have a proactive working style.
